La Bebeshita holds the title of Capataz on La Granja VIP, becoming the first woman to occupy the position in the program's history.
The role carries specific duties and rewards. The Capataz assigns daily chores, manages resident interactions, and receives immunity from nomination for the duration of the week.
Participants also gain access to the dedicated Capataz suite. This private room features a bathtub, hot water, and stocked amenities including wine and candy.
The leader also holds voting power in nomination duels and selects the Golden Peon, preventing that individual from being assigned to the lowest rank again that week.
La Bebeshita disclosed stomach issues while serving as foreman. She described a potential curse associated with the role, noting that previous leaders have experienced similar health setbacks.
Kunno suffered from stomach problems two weeks prior during his tenure as Capataz. In his case, the cause was identified: he drank from a dirty hose.
Ivonne Montero, who did not hold the Capataz title, also reported stomach distress. She shared a room with Pablo Montero, who served as leader that week.
Montero was selected by viewers to sleep in the master bedroom. Her symptoms prevented her from participating in the Friday party, leaving her in bed.
Not all leaders have faced health issues. Manio Mono Osuna, Julio Camejo, and Pablo Montero served as Capataz without reporting physical ailments.
The current week marks the first time a woman directs the Granjeros. La Bebeshita is managing the group dynamics and task assignments despite her reported discomfort.
