Pablo Montero pushed back against Guillermo Kunno Olivo Pérez during nominations on La Granja VIP, telling the content creator he was unhappy with how Kunno spoke. "¿Yo qué puedo decir de un tipo como tú, que se expresas tan vulgar y denigrantemente?" Montero said. Kunno answered that the behavior is how he plays the game.
The exchange started when Adal Ramones asked Kunno to name his nominee. Kunno picked Montero and called his time in the competition "aburrido, decepcionante." He said Montero had no strategy and argued that Montero asks for respect while using offensive words in his own confrontations. Kunno also said he watched Montero and Julio Camejo cover or remove microphones while talking, and he reminded him that the cameras and microphones in the Granja record everything.
Montero asked to finish his turn and questioned why Kunno kept answering while he spoke. "Estoy hablando, es que esa es la educación que tienes. Siempre es lo mismo contigo," he said. Kunno held his position: "Yo vine a jugar." He added that without provocation, the other contestants would not be arguing.
The dispute followed Kunno's comments about Natalia Alcocer. At the La Gala on October 25, Montero said he no longer wanted Kunno in the competition because of how he had spoken about her, and he raised the issue of respect toward women. Kunno replied that he would show his position with actions.
Kunno also said that without his provocations, the other contestants would not be discussing anything. He repeated that provocation is part of how he plays, and he maintained that claim after Montero rejected the explanation.
