Inde Navarrette delivered the highest audience numbers of Saturday Night Live Season 52, drawing 5.2 million viewers for the Halloween episode. The performance marks a new peak for the current season and places the Obsession actor ahead of several high-profile hosts who previously led the ratings.
The 5.2 million figure exceeds the viewership numbers recorded for episodes hosted by Jalen Brunson, Dakota Johnson, and Shane Gillis. Johnson’s broadcast featured a cameo from Taylor Swift, while Gillis’s hosting duties generated discussion regarding his booking. Navarrette’s result also compares closely with the highest totals from the previous season.
Only two episodes in Season 51 attracted more than 5.2 million viewers. The first was the December 2025 installment hosted by Ariana Grande, which reached 5.4 million. That episode served as Bowen Yang’s final appearance as a cast member and included Cher as the musical guest. The second high-water mark came from the Season 51 finale hosted by Will Ferrell with Paul McCartney as the musical guest, which drew 5.3 million viewers.
On the streaming platform Peacock, Navarrette’s episode recorded the show’s best performance since a March broadcast featuring Harry Styles as both host and musical guest. Among adults aged 18 to 49, the Halloween special achieved the strongest rating since John Mulaney hosted in November 2024.
Digital engagement also reached a seasonal peak. Video clips from the broadcast accumulated 325 million views across YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, and TikTok. Gracie Abrams performed as the musical guest, while Tom Hanks returned to the cast to reprise his David S. Pumpkins character alongside Bobby Moynihan.
Druski is scheduled to host the next episode on November 7, with the Strokes performing as the musical guest. John Mulaney will return for his seventh hosting appearance on November 14, joined by Phoebe Bridgers. These two upcoming broadcasts will determine if the show maintains the viewership levels established by Navarrette’s Halloween special.
